The World Food Programme (WFP) has been supporting the people of Haiti for decades, providing life‑saving assistance and resilience support in one of the world’s most food‑insecure contexts. Each year, WFP Haiti supports millions of vulnerable people through emergency food and cash assistance, school meals, nutrition support, livelihoods, and resilience‑building programmes, while working closely with national partners to strengthen food systems and social protection. The Haiti Country Office operates in a highly complex environment and plays a central role in the humanitarian response across the country.
Position Summary:
The position is located in the Employee Experience Section of the Human Resources Unit. The Culture, Engagement & Performance Analyst provides analytical and programmatic support to WFP Haiti's culture, engagement, diversity, and performance management functions through strong analytical capability and digital fluency. The role is responsible for designing and administering measurement instruments, converting data into insights, and supporting the planning and delivery of programs that improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness by focusing on use of digital platforms, PACE analytics and data visualization tools. The incumbent plays a key role in demonstrating the impact of WFP culture and engagement investments.
Reporting Lines
The incumbent works under the supervision of the Capability Strengthening Consultant.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Employee Engagement
- Support onboarding and employee experience initiatives to improve retention and workplace satisfaction.
- Analyze employee engagement surveys and people data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Support the design and implementation of recognition, engagement, diversity, and inclusion initiatives that strengthen employee motivation and belonging.
2. Performance Management
- Coordinate and support the annual performance management cycle, including timelines, guidance, and query management.
- Design performance management campaigns to drive awareness, accountability, and high completion rates.
- Support employees and managers in developing effective work plans, setting clear goals, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and completing annual performance reviews through well-written and objective performance evaluation forms.
- Ensure alignment between performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on compliance with performance review deadlines.
3. Learning & Development (L&D)
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps across teams.
- Coordinate internal and external learning programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- Track learning program outcomes and recommend improvements to strengthen employee growth and capability building.
4.HR Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor engagement, performance, and L&D outcomes.
- Ensure data accuracy and provide clear insights to support HR and leadership decision-making.
- Support policy review and process improvements related to employee experience and performance.
Education (Essential)
First-level university degree in Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Science, Development or a related field.
Education (Desirable)
Advanced university degree and/ or professional certifications in Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Science, Development or a related field.
Language:
Fluency in French and English (Level C) is required
Experience (Essential)
Minimum 1 (one) year of professional experience in human resources, organizational research, performance management or people analytics, including experience in generating and interpreting disaggregated quantitative and qualitative data to inform HR programs and initiatives.
Job Related Competencies (Essential)
- Proficiency in using data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel advanced).
- Knowledge of diversity statistics, culture frameworks, and engagement techniques and measurement approaches.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; segmentation and ability to translate data into compelling insights.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and analytical rigor.
- Excellent written communication skills; able to present complex data clearly for non-specialist audiences.
- Curiosity and continuous learning orientation in the domains of culture, engagement, and people science.
- Creativity, ability to think outside of the box.
- Change management notions.
- Collaborative and service-oriented working style.
