1. Introduction
This guide is designed to help you use Eurojust's new eRecruitment platform. Through the system you can:
- Create and manage your personal account and profile.
- Search for and apply to open vacancies.
- Track the progress and status of your submitted applications.
- Manage your data in line with Eurojust's personal data protection policy.
All applications must be submitted via the eRecruitment system before the deadline stated in each vacancy notice.
Please note that on 3 October 2025 Eurojust's Recruitment Portal has changed and no applicant data was migrated from the old portal to the new one.

2. Personal Account
2.1. Create a new personal account
- Go to Eurojust's eRecruitment website
- Tick the box to solve the captcha.

- The main page will be displayed.

- If you are not yet registered, click Create an Account.

- Fill in the required fields (first and last name, email address, and create a password), tick the box to solve the captcha and accept the privacy notice. Then click Submit Registration.

- You will receive a validation email. Follow the link in your mailbox to activate your account.

- When the recruitment website opens, confirm the captcha. Your account will then be created and you can log in to proceed with your application.

2.2. Login
- Visit the eRecruitment portal.
- Enter your registered username (email address) and password, then click Login.

2.3. Manage your profile
- Once logged in, click on your name on the top right-side of the screen and click "Update Personal Details".

- You will be able to add or update your personal information and contact details. Click Save.

2.4. Change password
- Once logged in, click on your name on the top right-side of the screen and click Security.

- Enter your current password, then your new password, twice, and click Change to confirm.

2.5. Logout
- Once logged in, click on your name and click Logout.

- After log out you will see the main page with the information confirming you have been logged out.

- Always make sure you save all changes before logging out.

2.6. Reset password
- On the Log in page, click Forgot your password.

- Enter your registered email address and confirm (Reset).

- You will receive an email with a reset link. Follow the link to set a new password.

3. Applying for a vacancy
- Go to Eurojust's eRecruitment portal.
- Click Log in. Enter your username (email address) and password, then click Login and browse vacancies.

- Click Apply on the vacancy you are interested in.

- The first step is to the eligibility question. Select 'Yes' if you fulfil all criteria. Click Submit to proceed.

At this point, if you have not logged in yet, the system will prompt you to either log in or create a new applicant account.
Once logged in, you can start your application – all fields marked with * are mandatory:
- Start filling the application form with your personal information. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- Add your contact details (address and mobile phone number). Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- Add your work history. The Add Another button allows you to add multiple experiences in this section, up to 20. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- Complete the education fields. Multiple entries are possible, up to 10. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- Enter relevant training. Multiple entries are possible, up to 10. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- Use the dropdowns to indicate your language skills. Multiple entries are possible, up to 10. By default, you can select the official EU languages. For 'other', please indicate the language – take into account its relevance for the vacancy you are applying for. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- In the Complementary data section, you can add information on how you fulfil the relevant criteria. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- Provide 3 professional references. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next section.
- At the end, review the Declaration of Honour and confirm that you agree by ticking the box. Click Submit to finalise your application.
You will see the status of your application (Evaluation in progress) and receive a confirmation email. Please note that the information will be pre-populated on your next application form.

4. Track submitted applications
Click your name, on the top-right of the screen.
- Under My Applications, you can track the status of each selection procedure. Updates on applications are communicated by email.

5. Personal data compliance
- Your account data is stored for two years from its last activity, unless you apply for a new vacancy.
- Once you have applied, your application data is stored for two years after the reserve list expiry or cancellation date, in case this is the selection procedure's outcome.
- Processing is in line with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725.
- You may exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion) as described in Eurojust's privacy notice, available via the link Privacy statement at the bottom of the page.
