Overview of positionOur client is seeking a Project Manager responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, from initial client engagement through to commissioning, handover, and operational transition.
The Project Manager will serve as the primary interface between clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with required quality standards.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within live operational environments.
Role objectivesProject Delivery

Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning and handover

Deliver multiple concurrent projects across different phases and locations

Ensure delivery against schedule, budget and quality targets

Maintain ownership of project progress, risks and outcomes
Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as primary point of contact for clients throughout delivery

Translate client requirements into clear technical and operational delivery plans

Maintain regular communication and reporting with internal and external stakeholders
Planning & Coordination

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (including dependencies and milestones)

Coordinate engineering, procurement, production and site activities

Ensure alignment between internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors
Supplier & Contractor Management

Source and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers

Manage procurement inputs, logistics, transport and site coordination

Oversee delivery of materials, equipment and services
Financial & Commercial Control

Manage project budgets, cost tracking and forecasting

Identify risks and opportunities and escalate where required

Ensure financial performance aligns with project targets
Technical Delivery

Maintain working understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

Support development of technical solutions with engineering teams

Review and validate technical scope and execution approach
Site Execution & Commissioning

Oversee site activities including installation and commissioning

Ensure safe working practices and compliance with site regulations

Coordinate FAT/SAT testing and final system validation

Ensure structured handover to operations/service teams
Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensure all work is delivered in line with safety, health and environmental standards

Maintain focus on quality, documentation and continuous improvement

Enforce safe working practices across all project activities

Key Requirements

Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary infrastructure or engineering projects
Strong coordination skills across engineering, procurement and site delivery teams
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in site-based delivery and commissioning environments
Ability to operate under pressure and manage changing priorities
Profile
Delivery-focused, hands-on project manager
Strong organisational and planning capability
Commercially aware with focus on project outcomes
Able to lead teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
Comfortable working in both office and site environments
Education:
Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical discipline. Professional project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent would be an advantage.
Experience:
Approximately 8–12+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in infrastructure, MEP, engineering delivery, power, telecoms, industrial, data centre or mission-critical projects. Experience in site delivery, subcontractor coordination, commissioning and handover would be important.
Language:
Fluent English required. Dutch or another relevant European language would be an advantage depending on project location.
