About the job:

Based in Mons, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join Service Management and Control (SMC), which is accountable for the full lifecycle of support for Service Delivery Management that includes strategy, design, transition, operation and continuous service improvement. SMC enables standardised ways of working across the NATO enterprise, as well as strengthening network protection and enterprise stability via Change and Configuration Management. SMC provides the common components, toolsets, expertise, and human resources to support seamless, integrated and correlated management of services and automation support for key processes through integrated event, asset and Configuration Management. SMC also orchestrates product lines (Service Lines, CSUs) across the NCIA to achieve and exceed customer expectations within the terms and conditions of a given OLA/SLA.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Asset Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of policies, standards, and guidelines that support effective planning and delivery of strategic initiatives.

  • Develops and communicates clear plans to support the implementation of strategy and associated change activities.

  • Leads the execution of business process improvements specifically within asset management and supply chain operations.

  • Analyses and designs supply chain and asset management processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Provides insight into the nuances of the asset management function.

  • Assesses the impact of effective asset management on enterprise finances.

  • Leads the development and implementation of stakeholder management plans aligned with asset management and supply chain objectives.

  • Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, including asset managers, service providers, logistics and operational partners.

  • Leading the projects effectively and maintaining clear, regular, and accurate communication with stakeholders so expectations, progress, and issues are well managed.

  • Maintaining realistic project plans, managing risks and change control, monitoring costs, and ensuring quality reviews and governance happen as required.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Asset Management related activities.

  • At least 10 years of proven leadership capabilities, preferably mixed experiences between Industry (civilian) and Military environments (Officer role).

  • Relevant experience in leading a cross functional team, preferably in an international environment.

  • Experience in operational theatre, military environments, or international organizations.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
