Context

The dispatch of a UN Volunteer would be a significant added value to the UN Women Morocco Country Office to support the design, implementation, and documentation of digital and innovation-driven approaches within the Surging Women’s Employment Initiative (SWEI) and the broader Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) programme.
The volunteer will provide dedicated technical support that complements existing programme teams, enabling UN Women Morocco to consolidate and scale digital solutions.
In addition, the volunteer will support efforts to deepen collaboration with the private sector, particularly in the areas of digital innovation, skills development, and women’s access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. Strengthening engagement with private sector actors—including technology companies and digital platforms—is a strategic priority for UN Women Morocco and requires dedicated technical capacity to identify opportunities, support partnerships, and contribute to joint initiatives aligned with women’s economic empowerment objectives.
The volunteer will also support communication and advocacy efforts during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, where support is needed to increase impact of awareness-raising initiatives, partnerships, and visibility.
