Brindar apoyo especializado y análisis técnicos a las actividades de políticas y programas que respondan adecuadamente a las necesidades de asistencia alimentaria, con énfasis en la programación de emergencias.

Las principales responsabilidades incluyen:

  • Proporcionar apoyo técnico y asistir en el desarrollo e implementación de diversas actividades para apoyar las intervenciones de emergencia, asegurando la alineación con las políticas y directrices programáticas más amplias.
  • Brindar apoyo especializado en la gestión de proyectos para programas específicos y/o definidos, asegurando que las distintas actividades se ejecuten dentro de los objetivos establecidos, conforme a las políticas y procedimientos del WFP.
  • Dentro del área específica de responsabilidad, preparar una variedad de informes y análisis de datos (por ejemplo, necesidades de asistencia alimentaria, uso de recursos, estado del programa, desempeño) e identificar tendencias o problemáticas, asegurando que los productos cumplan con los estándares corporativos y controles de calidad.
  • Garantizar y/o realizar el registro preciso y oportuno de datos dentro del área técnica específica de trabajo (por ejemplo, programas de asistencia, evaluaciones de seguridad alimentaria y vulnerabilidad) y la consistencia de la información presentada a las partes interesadas.
  • Coordinar con contrapartes internas para apoyar la colaboración efectiva, la implementación y el monitoreo de las actividades en curso.
  • Coordinar y comunicarse con socios locales, agencias, ONGs y otras instituciones de Gobierno para realizar análisis precisos de seguridad alimentaria y asegurar la entrega eficiente de la asistencia alimentaria.
  • Apoyar el fortalecimiento de capacidades del personal del WFP, socios cooperantes y otros actores dentro del área técnica específica.
  • Actuar como punto de contacto para la resolución de diversas consultas operativas y problemas dentro del área técnica de responsabilidad.
  • Supervisar y/o revisar el trabajo del personal de apoyo, proporcionando orientación práctica y asesoría, para contribuir al logro de los objetivos conforme a los estándares y plazos acordados.
  • Aplicar prácticas estándar de preparación ante emergencias para asegurar que el WFP pueda responder rápidamente y desplegar los recursos necesarios en áreas afectadas ante el inicio de una nueva crisis o cambios repentinos en una crisis existente. Realizar cualquier otra tarea que sea requerida.

CALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDAS:

Educación:

  • Título universitario en Relaciones Internacionales, Derecho, Economía, Nutrición/Salud, Agricultura, Ciencias Sociales, Administración de Empresas, Políticas Públicas y/o Gestión, u otra disciplina relevante para el desarrollo internacional o la asistencia humanitaria.

Experiencia:

  • 5-7 años de experiencia profesional progresiva en programación humanitaria y de desarrollo y/o en áreas relacionadas con la gestión de proyectos.
  • Experiencia comprobada en roles de coordinación con diversos actores internos.
  • Dominio fluido del inglés, tanto oral como escrito. (nivel C)

DESEABLES:

  • Experiencia trabajando con equipos técnicos y en el análisis de temas complejos.
  • Experiencia liderando y/o contribuyendo a la gestión y coordinación de programas.
  • Experiencia participando u observando discusiones de política.
  • Dominio de Windows y Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
