Temporary
The Scope
FSC India is the national representative of FSC International - a globally recognised, non-profit organisation that promotes responsible forest management and responsible sourcing across forest-based value chains. We work at the intersection of sustainability, business and policy, supporting stakeholders across the full spectrum of forest-based industries.
India sits at the heart of global forest-based supply chains - both as a producer and a growing consumer of forest products. As the number of FSC-certified businesses in India continues to grow, we're building deeper market linkages, promoting responsible sourcing, and creating meaningful impact. Our work spans Forest Management certification, Chain of Custody certification, Ecosystem Services, FSC Trace and the Promotional Licence Holder programme.
We're looking for a passionate and creative Marketing & Communications Officer to join our small, committed team. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll contribute to market development, stakeholder engagement and communication - helping to tell FSC India's story and expand our reach across forest-based industries.
You'll collaborate across teams, engage with businesses and institutions across India, and have the opportunity to shape how sustainability is communicated within a globally connected organisation. No two days will look the same.

- Support and participate in value chain-specific events, exhibitions, consultations and expos.
- Develop periodic Forest Markets Analysis Reports covering insights on forest-based value chains, including policy, trade and economic dimensions.
- Support stakeholder engagement to deepen relationships with FSC India’s existing and prospective certificate holders.

- Support FSC India in implementing strategic market and forest-related projects under Pillar 4.
