About the Role
This internship offers a solid introduction to how organizations manage and monitor operational risks. The intern will collaborate closely with the team and assist with a variety of tasks that support the department’s day‑to‑day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assit with review, update, and assessment of key processes and controls, including narratives, flowcharts, and risk assessment matrices.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date process documentation.
- Contribute to data collection for risk‑related activities.
- Provide support on additional tasks as they arise, including assignments delegated by the Director.
Applicants should:
- Be students or hold a degree, preferably in risk management or audit.
- Have an excellent command of English (spoken/reading/writing skills).
- Language of BSTDB member countries will be considered an advantage.
- Have an intermediate command of Microsoft Excel.
- Foundational understanding of risk management and audit principles.
- Be able to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently and deliver results to meet tight deadlines.
- Be able to function in an environment of diverse nationalities and working styles.
