Output 2: - Development and implementation of the Foreign Currency Management Module, including: • Centralized registration of foreign currency information. • Search and query functionality for foreign currency data. • Automatic data updates based on reliable and trusted sources. • Basic reporting on foreign currency information. - Documentation and integration testing with other systems, including: • Interoperability testing with current and future systems. • Technical documentation of interfaces and communication protocols. • Report on testing results and functional validation. Output 3: - ROS, PCC, PEP and ROG Management Module: • Registration and management of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), PCC, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and ROG, in accordance with existing business rules. • Integration with the new system architecture. • Functional validation and data consistency assurance. - Internal and external reports and queries designed and validated: • Design of internal reports based on management and operational needs. • Design of reports for external consultation, ensuring confidentiality and information security. • Validation of reports with end users and the quality control area. - Automated compliance validation services implemented: • Automation of compliance validation processes. • Detection of inconsistencies and risk indicators. • Generation of automated alerts and reports. • Documentation of services and approval of functional testing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the project coordinator, the Individual Contractor will carry out the following tasks: a) Design the integrated architecture of the SISO V2 and NEMESIS systems • Establish a standardized architecture that enables seamless integration between SISO V2 and NEMESIS, ensuring scalability to support future developments and additional modules. b) Design and implement the security and user management module • Develop a module that enables the administration of Reporting Entities, responsible officials, analysts, and other user roles, integrated with Caronte V2. • Implement access control, authentication, and information security mechanisms in accordance with internal policies and applicable security standards. c) Design and implement the foreign currency management module • Develop a module that centralizes, enables searching, and facilitates access to foreign currency information, ensuring data accuracy and continuous updates. d) Ensure system integration with current and future systems • Establish interfaces and protocols to ensure system interoperability with existing applications and potential future developments, facilitating the secure exchange of information. e) Design and generate internal and external reports and queries • Develop reports and queries based on existing formats, adapted to the new system architecture, to support internal analysis and the provision of information to external entities, in accordance with security and confidentiality requirements. f) Design and implement the ROS, PCC, PEP, and foreign currency management module • Centralize the management of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), PCC, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and foreign currencies, in compliance with the new system architecture and current business rules, ensuring consistency, control, and traceability of information. g) Automate compliance validations and other operational processes • Implement tasks and services to automate compliance validations, detect inconsistencies, manage risk controls, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Qualifications/special skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. • A degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable. • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable professional experience in areas related to IT and/or systems development is required. • Knowledge of Java programming language and/or data integration and/or information security and/or Big Data management and/or Business Intelligence is required.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in Spanish, including a high level of oral and written proficiency, is required. Knowledge of another United Nations language is an advantage.
