Project background 

The Communication and Knowledge Sharing Unit plays a leading role in strengthening the visibility and reputation of GGGI as a trusted global partner for green growth solutions through strategic communications, thought leadership, knowledge sharing, media engagement, and digital outreach. 

To strengthen its digital communications capacity, we are seeking a Global Campaign and Content Producer Consultant to support multimedia content production, social media campaigns, digital publishing, and content management across GGGI’s global communication channels. The consultant will work closely with the global communications team and coordinate with regional and country teams to develop engaging digital content, support campaign implementation, manage content workflows, and maintain consistency in branding and messaging across platforms. Given the ongoing nature of these activities, GGGI anticipates a continued need for support in this area, and the contract may be extended based on performance, organizational requirements, and available funding.

Objectives of the assignment  

We are looking for a talented individual to join the Communication and Knowledge Sharing Unit and contribute to advancing GGGI’s digital engagement and outreach across global platforms through high-quality multimedia content, digital campaigns, and audience-focused storytelling. 

The Communication and Knowledge Sharing Unit plays a key role in raising the profile of the organization through the development and dissemination of impactful communication and knowledge products that showcase GGGI’s work and results across country, regional, and global initiatives. The consultant will develop and publish digital content across GGGI’s communication channels, manage Canva Enterprise and content workflows, coordinate and finalize submissions from regional and country teams, and produce engaging social media and email marketing products aligned with GGGI’s communication priorities and brand standards. 

Deliverables and Payment schedule 

Working with the Communications team, the consultant will:  

  • Develop and deliver high-quality multimedia content, including social media posts, short-form videos for communication campaigns around international days, flagship events, conferences, and organizational priorities, ensuring alignment with GGGI branding, messaging, and audience engagement objectives. 

  • Translate technical publications, project results, country stories, and event outcomes into clear, visually compelling, and accessible content for diverse audiences. 

  • Manage and organize GGGI’s Canva Enterprise environment, including brand assets, templates, and content libraries, while coordinating and finalizing content submissions from regional and country teams to ensure consistent branding and quality standards. 

  • Plan, develop, and publish digital content through Sprout Social in alignment with global editorial calendars, thematic campaigns, international observances, and communication priorities. 

  • Support the design, formatting, and visual presentation of GGGI’s global newsletter and other email marketing products using Mailchimp and related digital communication tools. 

Expertise required 

The description of the required expert may be split into the following parts:  

  • A university degree in communications, marketing, design, multimedia production, international development, or a related field.  

  • Minimum two years of professional experience in digital communications, social media content production, graphic design, or multimedia storytelling.  

  • Advanced proficiency in Canva Enterprise and demonstrated experience producing multimedia content, including short-form video, using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or equivalent, as well as social media management and email marketing platforms such as Sprout Social and Mailchimp.  

  • Strong visual storytelling, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, collaborate across diverse teams, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.  

  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and collaboration. 

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
