Job Specific Context
The Core Systems Engineering (CSE) team designs, builds, and maintains the platforms, APIs, reusable components, and developer tools that power UNOPS digital solutions - from AI applications and integration layers to business systems and project templates. The successful candidate must be able to maintain a work schedule aligned with Copenhagen time (CET/CEST) +/- 1 hour. Additionally, because the role involves working with cloud-based environments and AI-assisted tools, a highly reliable internet connection and a stable power infrastructure are essential for day-to-day performance.

The incumbent will operate within established architectural patterns while utilizing modern development practices, including AI-assisted coding. The role demands strong problem-solving instincts, a proactive approach to delivery, and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly and apply sound engineering principles across different frameworks and languages.
