I. Organizational Context
The International Solar Alliance (ISA) is an intergovernmental organization dedicated to promoting solar energy deployment globally. As ISA expands its programmatic and operational footprint, the need for a robust, secure, and integrated digital ecosystem is critical to support its initiatives, including digital marketplaces, data platforms, and member country engagement tools.
Within this context, the Senior IT Systems Integrator will lead the design, integration, and management of ISA’s enterprise IT architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and international best practices.
II. Duties & Responsibilities
Under the overall guidance of senior management, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
A. Enterprise IT Architecture and Systems Integration
§ Design, implement, and maintain ISA’s enterprise IT architecture, covering applications, infrastructure, and data systems.
§ Ensure interoperability and seamless integration across internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, document management systems) and external digital platforms.
§ Establish and enforce IT standards, protocols, and governance frameworks.
B. Digital Platforms and Website Management
§ Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of ISA’s official website and associated digital platforms.
§ Ensure high standards of performance, accessibility, security, and user experience.
§ Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to align digital platforms with programmatic objectives.
C. IT Infrastructure and Cloud Management
§ Manage ISA’s IT infrastructure, including cloud services, servers, networks, and storage systems.
§ Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of IT operations.
§ Establish and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery mechanisms.
D. Licensing, Hardware, and Asset Management
§ Oversee procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets.
§ Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize utilization of enterprise software.
§ Maintain asset inventories and develop replacement and upgrade strategies.
E. Coordination of Digital Initiatives
§ Provide technical oversight and coordination across ISA’s digital initiatives, including e-marketplaces, data dashboards, and member-facing portals.
§ Ensure alignment, integration, and avoidance of duplication across platforms.
§ Act as a liaison between technical vendors and program teams.
F. Cybersecurity and Data Governance
§ Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and protocols.
§ Ensure data protection, privacy, and access control in line with international standards.
§ Monitor and respond to cybersecurity risks and incidents.
G. IT Procurement and Investment Planning
§ Lead IT procurement processes in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.
§ Provide strategic advice on technology investments, including build vs. buy decisions and cloud vs. on-premise solutions.
§ Prepare and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost optimization and value for money.
H. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
§ Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and system integrators.
§ Define service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor vendor performance.
§ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of IT services.

VI. Qualifications and Experience
A. Education
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
B. Experience
- § A minimum of 12–15 years of progressively responsible experience in IT systems management, enterprise architecture, or system integration.
- § Demonstrated experience in managing cloud infrastructure, digital platforms, and IT procurement.
- § Experience working with international organizations, government institutions, or large-scale programmes is desirable.
