We support Microsoft 365, WebEx, Power Platform, and AI tools like Copilot, Google Gemini, and Grammarly, while engineering, deploying, and supporting Windows Endpoints. Role Overview
You'll support the Microsoft 365 service delivery and automation initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration tools for our global workforce while driving efficiency through innovative solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Platform Engineering Analyst, reporting to the ITSDS Team Lead, will play a crucial role in supporting Microsoft365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc., as well as Email Security Products like Cisco IronPort and EOP ATP. They will also be responsible for automating routine tasks using Power-Automate, PowerApps, PowerShell scripts, or similar technologies. Furthermore, the role involves leading projects or tasks and collaborating with team members to ensure successful completion. This position entails regular interaction with end users and other service providers.
Responsibilities and skills include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage, administer, and optimize the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
• Oversee site administration and governance, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and best practices.
• Leverage Microsoft Graph API to enhance platform automation, integration, and reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of scalable platform solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in platform design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives and project goals.
• Design and deliver automation solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and PowerShell to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Support the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and drive innovation.
• Deliver and support email security, compliance, and governance solutions within Microsoft 365.
• Work closely with security teams to implement and maintain platform security controls in line with industry best practices.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and contribute to remediation planning and implementation.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and uptime.
• Conduct regular platform assessments to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide operational support for the M365 platform by managing and resolving incidents and service requests logged through ServiceNow in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights and business intelligence for IT Operations.
• Support project delivery, including implementation of activities, documentation, and transition to operations.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful adoption of platform solutions.
Technical Competencies:
• Proven experience as a seasoned Exchange Online Administrator and Microsoft Office 365 SaaS solution applications such OneDrive, Yammer, Teams, SharePoint to maintain stable and effective platform.
• Configuring, maintaining & supporting Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools.
• Experience with securing Microsoft 365 platform.
• Strong familiarity with systems administration disciplines like capacity planning, performance analysis, troubleshooting, trend analysis, etc. in enterprise environments
Selection Criteria
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example in IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with min 1 year of related work experience).
• 3+ years Microsoft 365 administration expertise
• Strong background in email security and compliance
• Programming skills (PowerShell, Python, Power Platform)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
