About the Country/Multi-Country Office

Based in Brazil, the UNOPS Southern Cone Multi-Country Office (SCMCO) also oversees operations in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, supporting national priorities and development goals across the subregion. In Argentina, UNOPS strengthens public institutions by providing technical assistance in planning, procurement, and oversight of infrastructure projects—particularly in public buildings—and building capacity in public procurement, with a focus on technological innovation. In Brazil, where UNOPS has operated since 2012, the office collaborates with UN agencies, financial institutions, and government bodies at all levels to deliver services in health, education, urbanization, social rehabilitation, PPPs, and institutional strengthening. UNOPS has played a key role in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and currently manages 17 active projects across the country. Its work emphasizes transparency, operational efficiency, and results-driven management while aligning with the strategic and operational needs of its partners. Across the Southern Cone, UNOPS promotes sustainable development by enhancing national capabilities and supporting the delivery of high-impact, inclusive infrastructure.

O Estagiário(a)/Trainee de Infraestrutura - Arquitetura ou Engenharia Civil apoiará a equipe nas atividades de revisão de projetos e acompanhamento de obras, contribuindo para que os projetos atendam aos mais altos padrões de qualidade.

O Estagiário(a)/Trainee de Infraestrutura - Arquitetura ou Engenharia Civil auxiliará na aplicação das melhores práticas de design técnico e gestão da construção ao longo do ciclo do projeto, sob orientação da equipe técnica, observando os padrões de Saúde, Segurança, Social e Ambiental (HSSE) e os requisitos de Proteção contra Exploração, Abuso e Assédio Sexual (PSEAH).

Espera-se que o/a titular da função demonstre interesse em desenvolver conhecimento técnico, organização no apoio às atividades e postura colaborativa, contribuindo para a integridade, a transparência e a coordenação entre as partes interessadas nas atividades de engenharia civil

El/La pasante de Infraestructura (Arquitectura o Ingeniería Civil) colaborará en la aplicación de las mejores prácticas en diseño técnico y gestión de la construcción a lo largo del ciclo del proyecto, bajo la supervisión del equipo técnico, respetando las normas de Salud, Seguridad, Responsabilidad Social y Medioambiental (HSSE) y los requisitos de Protección contra la Explotación, el Abuso y el Acoso Sexual (PSEAH).

Functions / Key Results Expected

Sob orientação próxima do Gerente de Projeto e de sua equipe técnica, as principais funções a serem desempenhadas serão: 

  • Prover suporte ao desenvolvimento, preparação, compatibilização e revisão de planos e projetos urbanísticos, de arquitetura e complementares.
  • Prover suporte a elaboração e revisão de termos de referência, memoriais descritivos, caderno de encargos, documentos de licitação e também manuais técnicos de engenharia e arquitetura.
  • Prover suporte em todas as etapas que envolvem o processo licitatório de contratação de projetos e/ou obras.
  • Apoiar a identificação e recomendação de soluções técnicas de arquitetura e engenharia por meio de relatórios e estudos técnicos.
  • Apoiar a identificação e recomendação de soluções que garantam a qualidade dos projetos, das operações, das instalações e das condições ambientais por meio de relatórios e estudos técnicos.
  • Apoiar na organização e métodos de rotinas administrativas de projeto e obra, tais como: cronogramas, reuniões, compatibilização de projetos e seguimentos dos processos internos.
  • Acompanhar inspeções de engenharia de operações de sistemas, de estruturas e instalações durante o desenvolvimento de projetos e obras.
  • Apoiar a recomendação de mudanças nas políticas e procedimentos para o parceiro por meio de revisão de atividades dos programas de engenharia.
  • Apoiar a realização de pesquisas de arquitetura, urbanismo e engenharia e prestar assistência técnica a parcerias.

Bajo la estrecha supervisión del Gerente de Proyecto y su equipo técnico, las principales funciones a desempeñar serán:

  • Brindar apoyo para el desarrollo, preparación, coordinación y revisión de planes y proyectos urbanísticos, arquitectónicos y complementarios.
  • Brindar apoyo para la preparación y revisión de términos de referencia, informes descriptivos, especificaciones, documentos de licitación y manuales técnicos de ingeniería y arquitectura.
  • Brindar apoyo en todas las etapas del proceso de licitación para la contratación de proyectos y/o obras.
  • Apoyar la identificación y recomendación de soluciones técnicas, arquitectónicas y de ingeniería mediante informes y estudios técnicos.
  • Apoyar la identificación y recomendación de soluciones que garanticen la calidad de los proyectos, operaciones, instalaciones y condiciones ambientales mediante informes y estudios técnicos.
  • Apoyar la organización y los métodos de las rutinas administrativas para proyectos y obras, tales como: cronogramas, reuniones, coordinación de proyectos y seguimiento de procesos internos.
  • Acompañar las inspecciones de ingeniería de las operaciones, estructuras e instalaciones del sistema durante el desarrollo de proyectos y obras.
  • Apoyar la recomendación de cambios en las políticas y procedimientos del socio mediante la revisión de las actividades del programa de ingeniería.
  • Apoyar la realización de investigaciones en arquitectura, urbanismo e ingeniería, y proporcionar asistencia técnica a las asociaciones.

  • Estejam cursando Bacharel em Arquitetura e Urbanismo ou Engenharia Civil a partir do 8º semestre; ou
  • Tenham até 3 anos de formados em Arquitetura e Urbanismo ou Engenharia Civil.

  • Estar cursando actualmente una licenciatura en Arquitectura y Urbanismo o Ingeniería Civil, a partir del octavo semestre; o
  • Haberse graduado en Arquitectura y Urbanismo o Ingeniería Civil en los últimos 3 años.

Será valorizada experiência profissional em:

  • Aplicação de princípios e técnicas básicos de Arquitetura ou Engenharia Civil;
