​Within the Western Balkans Region, the Junior Project Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of a project focused on strengthening fair, transparent, and accountable labour migration systems in the region.

Working under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Junior Project Officer supports the implementation and coordination of activities throughout the project cycle. The role contributes to the strategic and operational alignment of project activities with donor requirements, ICMPD standards, and the priorities of beneficiary institutions and participating countries.

Based in the Western Balkans region, the Junior Project Officer works closely with national authorities, project partners, service providers, and internal ICMPD colleagues to support effective coordination, timely implementation, and coherent delivery of project activities. The Junior Project Officer may also contribute to related migration initiatives implemented by the region, as required.

Fluency in English and Macedonian (verbal and written) language is required.​
