About the role
We are looking for a volunteer Partnership Manager who will help us maintain current partnerships and establish new ones with organizations that share our goals and values. In order to achieve our next milestones we need help with researching and contacting private companies, foundations, philanthropists, NGOs, influencers, academic institutions and think-tanks. Please note that this role will be on a volunteer basis to start. A successful candidate will learn about our ambitious project and familiarize themselves with our previous and ongoing partnerships.

The duties will include

Maintaining contact with partner organizations

Researching new partnership opportunities

Crafting outreach materials and contacting potential partners

Researching fundraising opportunities

Working closely with the Atlas founder

Helping the team with other needs as requested
Minimum requirements
-
Ability to write and communicate professionally in English
-
5-10 hours/week availability

Availability for weekly online meetings

At least 2 years of experience in business partnership management

Experience with corporate fundraising and the small donation model
Bonus traits

2+ years of experience with fundraising

Interest in the NGO and NFPO field
What you can expect

As you work with us, you may learn about other parts of the project and can choose to be more involved. We offer experience, volunteer status, and potential long-term membership in our organisation for committed colleagues. This allows more managerial, leadership and decision-making opportunities, as well as voting rights in the association. In the meantime, we are working hard to create more support and funding for Atlas, and we aim to professionalize this position as soon as possible.
What we expect from you
First and foremost, we expect reliable communication. You will familiarize yourself with the overall idea of the project, join regular weekly meetings, and be proactive about potential new partnership opportunities. You will seek help from the rest of the team when needed, and be open to feedback.
