Overview of positionUnder the direct supervision of the Senior Program Associate (DRR), and general oversight of the DRR officer, the Project Assistant (CCB Field Support) will perform the following duties.
Role objectivesCore Functions / Responsibilities.

Assist the Community Capacity Building Facilitators team in organizing CCB training activities for target communities.

Provide field assistance during training sessions and report observations to supervisor, as required.

Gather feedback from Community Capacity Building Facilitators and training participants and share information with supervisor.

Assist in community-based assessments through data collection related to community infrastructure, resources, and population information.

Review training participant’s timesheets and payment sheets, prepare supporting documents for payments and follow up with relevant units for processing and filing.

Assist in preparing training schedules and related logistical arrangements under the guidance of the supervisor.

Maintain regular communication with Community Capacity Building Facilitators and community leaders, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders and relay information to the project team.

Collect training reports and activity information and submit these reports to the supervisor.

Provide updates on CCB-related activities and field progress, as requested.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as disaster management, social work, community development, business administration or public health from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant experience.
Or
-
High school diploma with three (4) years of relevant professional experience.

Certification in First Aid, Search & Rescue and other relevant training programs would be considered as an additional advantage.
Experience:
-
Experience in administrative or field support functions, community mobilization, disaster management, or related fields.

Experience assisting community-based training workshops and organizing training materials.

Experience working with humanitarian, development, NGO, or international organizations is desirable.
Skills:
-
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other programme-related tools.
Languages
-
For all Applicants, fluency in English is required (oral and written).

Fluency in the local languages (Dari and Pashto) spoken in the community is required.

Fluency in all national language(s) are highly advantages.
