Application Manager CRM Solutions*
in Bonn or Berlin
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. At the end of the initial two-year contractual period, there are good prospects for conversion of the contract from a fixed-term to an open-ended employment contract. Employment location will be Bonn or Berlin, Germany.
Digital transformation is changing the way we work and collaborate. To strengthen Welthungerhilfe’s digital backbone, we are modernizing our CRM landscape — enhancing our current SAP-based solution with cloud-based platforms such as Dymatrix DynaCampaign and Pipedrive. To support this journey, we are looking for an engaged and analytical Application Manager – CRM Solutions to join our Business Solutions team and our cross-departmental CRM project.
In this role, you will ensure the reliable operation of our existing CRM tools, notably MFPlus, while actively contributing to the further adoption of our new, cloud-based campaign management solution DynaCampaign. You will work at the intersection of marketing, finance, IT, and external service providers, helping us build efficient, integrated, and sustainable systems that support Welthungerhilfe’s mission to end global hunger.
Your responsibilities
- You own and manage the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of our SAP-based donor accounting and CRM solution MFplus, ensuring system availability, reliability, and alignment with business requirements
- You drive further development of the marketing and CRM application landscape, including Dymatrix DynaCampaign, Pipedrive, and Inxmail, by coordinating process enhancements, supporting new functionalities, and driving automation and user adoption
- You ensure high data quality and the reliable operation of interfaces between CRM, SAP ECC, and other connected systems through effective monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution
- Together with our Domain Data Owner and Process Owner Marketing, you analyze CRM-related business processes across donor management, campaign management, and relationship management, and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify optimization opportunities, improve process efficiency, and increase automationYou act as the primary liaison between business users, project teams, external partners, and service providers, translating business requirements into system improvements and ensuring consistent service delivery
- You manage external vendors and support partners, monitor service quality and system performance, and coordinate maintenance activities and release implementations
- You maintain system documentation, prepare user guides, and deliver training and knowledge-sharing activities for key users and end users
Your profile
- You have a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Marketing or a comparable qualification
- You have 1–3 years of professional experience in application management, CRM administration, or process support, ideally in a non-profit or service-oriented environment
- You bring experience with CRM or campaign management systems such as Dynacampaign, MFPlus, Pipedrive, or SAP
- Good understanding of donor management, fundraising, or campaign management processes is an advantage
- You have a talent to translate business needs into system requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- You are proactive, analytical, and structured in your work and enjoy coordinating between departments and external partners and take ownership for moving initiatives, requirements, and improvements from idea to implementation
- You are motivated to grow your CRM expertise, especially in DynaCamapaign, and are driven to become a subject expert for our legacy system MFPlus
- You are fluent in German and English (spoken and written) and can communicate confidently with stakeholders, users, and external partners in both languages
