Overview of positionOur Client is supporting critical humanitarian operations and essential services across the Gaza Strip. To ensure accountability, transparency, and effective monitoring of fuel resources, our Client requires dedicated Fuel Monitoring Assistants to support the implementation of fuel monitoring activities across fuel stations, storage facilities, and operational sites.
The Fuel Monitoring Assistant will support fuel verification, documentation, reporting, and field monitoring activities under the supervision of the Fuel Monitoring Engineer and our Client management team.
In line with localization and operational efficiency principles, preference will be given to qualified national candidates based in Gaza
Role objectivesFuel Monitoring Support
- Observe and document fuel loading operations at designated fuel stations.
- Verify and record fuel quantities loaded into tankers and other authorized vehicles.
- Support tracking of fuel deliveries to designated facilities and project locations.
- Observe and document fuel offloading activities.
- Record fuel storage tank levels before and after deliveries.
- Collect fuel receipts, waybills, delivery notes, and supporting documentation.
- Take photographs and maintain evidence records of fuel operations when required.
- Assist in monitoring fuel consumption at supported facilities.
- Support fuel inventory checks and stock verification exercises.
- Immediately report any discrepancies, shortages, leakages, or irregularities to the Fuel Monitoring Engineer.
Field Monitoring and Data Collection
- Conduct regular site visits to fuel storage and distribution locations.
- Collect operational data and field observations.
- Maintain accurate monitoring records and logs.
- Support data entry and database management activities.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed and maintained.
Operational Support
- Support emergency fuel response activities when requested.
- Participate in coordination meetings and field visits.
- Assist the Fuel Monitoring Engineer in carrying out technical assessments and monitoring activities.
- Support communication and coordination with facility focal points and fuel suppliers.
- Perform other fuel monitoring-related duties as assigned by or Client.
The Fuel Monitoring Assistant will:
- Report directly to the Fuel Monitoring Engineer and designated Client supervisor.
- Submit daily and weekly monitoring updates.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Immediately report incidents, discrepancies, or operational concerns.
- Support the preparation of consolidated reports and monitoring summaries.
The Fuel Monitoring Assistant is expected to demonstrate:

Other Qualifications
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with data collection and reporting tools is an asset.
- Knowledge of fuel operations and storage practices is desirable.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
This role has no management responsibilities.
