About this position

We are looking for a proactive, structured, and collaborative Coordinator for AI Studio Guidelines Support Consultant. In this role, you will act as a central enabler of the AI Studio initiative within TechLab, ensuring effective coordination across teams and clients, while maintaining high-quality service delivery.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and client teams to move initiative forward, streamline collaboration, and ensure that AI Studio delivers consistent, safe, and valuable experiences. You will also define and maintain the guidelines that enable teams to experiment with AI efficiently while maximizing the potential for scaling successful solutions.

You will work in TechLab, the Bank’s Emerging Technologies Laboratory, which facilitates the responsible adoption of emerging technologies across the organization and advances the IDB’s journey toward becoming an AI-driven institution.

What you’ll do

As Coordinator for AI Studio Guidelines Support, you will:

  • Coordinate Delivery: Act as the primary coordinator between TechLab, internal teams, and clients to drive AI Studio initiatives, remove blockers, and ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and delivery.
  • Enhance User Experience: Monitor adoption, user satisfaction, and overall experience, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback mechanisms, analyze insights, and translate findings into actionable improvements across tools, processes, and engagement models.
  • Manage Guidelines & Knowledge: Develop and maintain AI Studio guidelines, standards, templates, playbooks, and a knowledge base of use cases, lessons learned, and best practices to support safe and effective AI experimentation.
  • Support Scaling & Governance: Promote standardized approaches that enable successful AI solutions to scale from prototype to sustainable implementation.
  • Monitor & Report Impact: Track adoption, usage, and business impact, providing insights and reporting to inform decision-making and prioritization.

What you'll need

  • Education: bachelor’s or (or equivalent advanced degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience working with technology or relevant projects, coordinating or managing client delivery systems.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our .  Must be eligible to work in job location(s) without the need for sponsorship. 
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab. 

Type of contract and duration

Local Remote Consultant Full-Time, 12 months (up to 48 months, subject to eligibility) rendered 100% remotely from place of residence of the selected candidate. Services are expected to be provided from a country where the IDB Group has offices.
