Under the Supply Chain Unit IRC is looking for a competent candidate to be hired as Supply Chain Assistant based at Nowshera office with the following major responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist SC Officer in processing Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) for Nowshera office.
  • Assist in processing supply requisitions, track and follow-up on its status to ensure uninterrupted program activities.
  • Collect and compile quotations from vendors as per procurement guidelines.
  • Support bid analysis and vendor selection under supervisor guidance.
  • Ensure proper documentation of procurement files in line with IRC compliance standards.
  • Assist in managing store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods/supplies.
  • Ensure accurate updating of stock cards and inventory records.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and safety of goods.
  • Maintain proper asset records and tagging in coordination with the Supply Chain Officer.
  • Assist in asset verification and tracking of asset movements.
  • Support in preparing asset reports and documentation.
  • Assist in vehicle scheduling and coordination of transport requests.
  • Support fleet management by maintaining vehicle logs and fuel records.
  • Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely dispatch of materials to field locations.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all supply chain documents (hard and soft copies).
  • Ensure compliance with IRC policies, donor regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with program teams to understand procurement and logistics needs.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure timely communication of updates on supply chain requests and deliveries.
  • Prepare SC reports when required.

Key Working Relationships:

Position Reports to: District Manager– Nowshera

Position directly supervises: Office Aid, Cocke, Driver and Cleaners

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.

Work Experience: 1-3 years of work experience of Supply Chain (Procurement, fleet and events management) with INGO/NGO will be preferred.

You are flexible and highly motivated; able to handle pressure well and work effectively in diverse environments
