Job Description
Working under the overall direction of the National Customer Service Officer and direct supervision of Wave System Admin Senior User Support Associate, the intern will assist with the operational activities of the Global Shared Services Centre Wave Support team. Tasks will include:
Responsibilities
- Production users accounts for creation and troubleshooting
- Roles and permissions management
- Lower environments permissions management
- Execution of system maintenance tasks such as job scheduling and running, script execution, database queries
Qualifications
Education
- Recent graduates from an accredited academic institution are eligible to apply. The role is open to graduates in computer science, or related fields.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
- Prior internship experience is highly desirable, but not required

Languages
For this internship, Fluency in English, both written and oral.

Notes
Depending on experience and location, interns are granted a small monthly stipend to help offset costs. Interns benefiting from an internship allowance or scholarship granted by their university or other sponsoring body that includes financial remuneration or credits for coursework will not be eligible for the stipend.
IOM covers Interns against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the internship. IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses. Interns are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.
