WBG Pioneers, the World Bank Group’s Internship Program, offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a high impact learning experience at the heart of global development. The Human Resources Talent Acquisition and Global Mobility (HRDTM) Department is responsible for attracting, selecting, and enabling talent mobility across the World Bank Group.

To improve the department’s knowledge sharing, collaboration across units, and facilitate access to talent management resources to internal stakeholders, HRDTM is undertaking several initiatives focused on learning, knowledge management, and digital content delivery. These initiatives involve transforming technical human resources content into user-friendly learning resources, knowledge repositories, and digital experiences that support hiring managers, employees, and HR professionals.

HRDTM is seeking a graduate-level intern to support the design, organization, and delivery of learning and knowledge resources across multiple strategic projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

The HR Content Design and Knowledge Management Intern will support the creation, organization, and optimization of learning and knowledge resources related to key initiatives:

• Self-paced interview skills training: Support the design and development of a self-paced learning program for interview panel members. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition subject matter experts to gather and structure learning objectives, course outlines and content.

• Create storyboards, scripts, exercises, activities, and assessments.

•Draft learner guides, job aids, and supporting materials.

•Coordinate with Learning and Development teams to develop the training on the technology platform.

Department’s documentation, resources and knowledge management project: Support the review, standardization and digital design of the department’s documentation and resources for different stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

•Coordinate documentation review activities across HRDTM units

•Support content updating and standardization efforts.

•Develop recommendations for content governance and maintenance, considering the needs of different stakeholder groups (within the department, other HR teams, internal clients)

•Support the design and development of the department site pages in partnership with the Information Technology Solutions department (ITS) and the HR Knowledge Management team.

Support for other department initiatives might be required.

Selection Criteria

•Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, a master’s program in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, User Experience Design, Information/Knowledge Management or similar.

•Responsibly leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and learning.

•Experience working with design tools such as Canva.

•Experience with web-based eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise/Storylines is a plus.

•Candidates must have 0–6 years of relevant professional experience.

•Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group’s mission.

•Strong collaboration, organizational and problem-solving skills.

•Effective written and verbal communication skills.

•Ability to work effectively in diverse, team-based environments.
