Background/Organizational Context The Blended Finance team’s role is to optimize the co-investment of funds from contributors, on concessional terms and consider the contributors' risk appetite, and in line with IFC's blended finance approach, governance and principles. Such concessional funds are able to accept higher risk/ lower return than commercial funds while not providing pure grants. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare one strategic KM deliverable focusing on IFC-EC partnership, including overview of funding envelopes and a forward-looking assessment of potential new areas for collaboration. The KM deliverable would be based on research conducted under point (1). Contribute to development of a social media package that can be used to highlight the growing BF partnership between IFC and the EC, including illustrative examples of high impact projects. The social media package would be based on the KM deliverable conducted under point (2). Contribute to development of a portfolio and pipeline tracking tool covering IFC’s EC funding envelopes, including visualization of program progress per envelope.
