Background and Rationale
The World Bank's Digital & AI team in MENAAP
supports governments in leveraging digital technologies and artificial
intelligence (AI) to accelerate growth, improve public services, and foster
inclusive digital economies. In Egypt, the team manages an active and growing
portfolio of programmatic Technical Assistance (TA) spanning digital
infrastructure, AI readiness, digital government, data governance, and the
digital economy.
This portfolio is set to expand with a proposed
flagship operation supporting Egypt's national digital transformation agenda.
To sustain the quality and pace of this work, the team requires dedicated
analytical support with strong bilingual capabilities in English and Arabic - making
the WBG Pioneers Program an ideal fit.
Objectives The Analyst will provide research, analytical,
and communications support to the Egypt Digital Program team across ongoing TA
activities and the preparation of future operations, including the EDGE PforR.
The intern will contribute substantively to knowledge products, policy
dialogue, and program documentation under the direct supervision of TTL.

high-performing, fast-moving team working at the forefront of digital and AI
policy in one of MENAAP's most strategically significant markets. The role
