Overview of position

We are seeking an enthusiastic helpdesk administration intern who will play a crucial role in support the helpdesk department by assisting in various administrative tasks related to the helpdesk operations. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to support the helpdesk activities by resolving technical issues & ensuring data accuracy on the system. This position will provide the intern with valuable hands-on experience in a real-world business environment and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals.

Role objectives

The helpdesk administration intern’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

•Support the request from country teams to update information on Tayo

•Verify and rectify any inconsistencies or inaccuracies in the data as needed

•Additionally, support in project implementation duties as assigned

•Assist in monthly timesheet tracking

•Update data and any related administrative tasks as required by your line manager

•Perform other duties as may be required from time to time


Project reporting

·This role reports to the system implementation lead

Key competencies

Education:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Completed or in progress)

Work experience:

•Experience working with MS Office, skilled in MS Excel

Geographical experience:

•Asia, Middle east and Africa

Languages:

•English

Key competencies:

•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

•Candidate should be meticulous and detail oriented, with an ability to identify and track bugs in software applications.
