Introduction

The successful applicant will be requested to perform the following main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to scientific content development and synthesis. Support the review and analysis of scientific literature, and assist in drafting concise summaries tailored to policy, scientific and general audiences, including identifying implications for the EUDA’s areas of work, in particular for research and innovation. Demonstrate openness to engage with topics beyond their immediate areas of expertise and contribute to analysing their relevance and implications for the EUDA’s mandate.
  • Support EUDA research monitoring and data activities. Contribute to ongoing drug-related research monitoring (2026–2027), including data collection, use of online tools, basic data management and descriptive analysis, and mapping EU-level research platforms and initiatives.
  • Support EUDA foresight activities. Contribute to the regular update of the foresight horizon scanning by updating the database of signals and trends in domains related to social, political, technological, economic and legal developments.
  • Assist in communication and dissemination efforts. Support RIF communication activities by contributing to editorial planning, drafting content for internal and external channels, and helping coordinate communication workflows across units.
  • Provide support to coordination and project management tasks. Assist with the organisation of meetings, preparation and management of documents, tracking of deliverables, and day-to-day coordination of project activities within a multidisciplinary team.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway or Türkiye.
  • Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service.
  • Be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
  • Have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications.
  • Have obtained the most recent higher education degree (graduate, postgraduate or doctoral) no more than three years before the deadline for applications.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of oral and written English.

General selection requirements:

Profile-specific selection requirements:
