Introduction

The successful applicant will be requested to perform the following main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to preparing analytical inputs supporting engagement with third countries (briefing notes, memos, working arrangements, technical cooperation projects proposals, international targeted policy analysis).
  • Support the preparation of a high-level side event at Lisbon Addictions, the 2027 geostrategic discussion, meetings and workshops focusing on international and geostrategic dimensions – requiring end-to-end support (concept, agenda, speaker coordination, briefing, follow up outputs).
  • Contribute to the ICS communication activities.
  • Support implementation of the signal management activities and literature reviews to inform and draft internal briefings and project proposals in the field of international cooperation at the EUDA.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway or Türkiye.
  • Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service.
  • Be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
  • Have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications.
  • Have obtained the most recent higher education degree (graduate, postgraduate or doctoral) no more than three years before the deadline for applications.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of oral and written English.

General selection requirements:

Profile-specific selection requirements:

  • A master’s degree in social sciences, international relations, political sciences, criminology, data analysis or a related field.
  • Knowledge of international drug policy or geopolitical dynamics.
  • Ability to review, synthesise and present information clearly for analytical or communication outputs.
  • Strong stakeholder awareness in an international and multicultural context.
