SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP: Intern will provide support for Immigration Legal Staff with current and new client cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter data into Case Management Software (LollyLaw) and other tracking systems
Work directly with Immigration Staff toassistwith case follow-ups
Conduct administrative projects to support casework
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Intern will gain a deeper understanding of current U.S.immigration systems
Intern will receive training andacquireknowledge of U.S.immigrationapplications,as well as eligibility requirements for various applications, filing procedures, etc.
Intern will develop research skills and ability to concisely summarize findings for workplace use
REQUIREMENTS:
CurrentenrolmentinABAaccredited Law School,Graduate Program, Undergraduate Program or have received theirbachelor’sdegree within the last year.
Attention to detail
Ability to take direction (written and oral) and to complete tasks independently
Must be punctual and dependable (regular attendancerequired)
Prior customer service experience and/or the ability to work well with others of varied backgrounds
Proficiencyin Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Farsi,Karen,Pashto,Russian,Somali, Swahili,Ukrainian,orVietnamesepreferred

This position is in-personat our City Heights office only
Intern schedule subject to our businesshours Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
