Context
UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential. Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone. And we never give up.
This UNV assignment will be based in the Office of Innovation (OOI). OOI works to catalyse UNICEF's and all its partners’ expertise and resources against key children-outcomes bottlenecks, with a view to continuously ideate and scale the most effective solutions with transformational potential at scale to achieve the child-related SDGs. The office is doing this by continuously exploring new ways of accelerating results for children, investing across a range of early stage solutions, and harnessing internal and external expertise towards continuously iterating and fine-tuning the most promising solutions for children through a systematic portfolio management approach, and leveraging all stakeholders’ innovation energy, knowhow and resources from intergovernmental, multilateral, private sector and non-governmental organizations. The position will be within the OOI Insights Team, which supports country offices and partners in identifying, validating, and scaling promising solutions through practical tools, strategic planning support and access to tailored data and analytics.
In addition to duty station specific vaccine requirements, appointments are subject to confirmation of fully vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the appointment. It does not apply to UN Volunteers who will work remotely and are not expected to work on or visit UNICEF premises, programme delivery locations or directly interact with communities UNICEF works with, nor to travel to perform functions for UNICEF for the duration of their contracts.
UNICEF offers reasonable accommodation for UN Volunteers with disabilities. This may include, for example, accessible software, travel assistance for missions or personal attendants. We encourage you to disclose your disability during your application in case you need reasonable accommodation during the recruitment process and afterwards in your assignment.

· Serve as a focal point to facilitate inputs to reporting and knowledge platforms by gathering, consolidating, and validating quantitative and qualitative inputs from multiple teams, and maintaining cadence and workflows to ensure timely and accurate contributions.
· Continuously explore and pilot new ways of designing systems and workflows to increase efficiency and output; applying systems thinking and human-centered design, and experimenting with automation and AI-assisted, rapid, and low-code prototyping approaches to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
Enable and build capacity
· Build colleagues' capacity to find and independently use data and knowledge platforms through user-friendly formats such as guidance and self-service resources, FAQs, video walk-throughs, AI assistants, and live training sessions;
