Overview of position

Under the overall supervision of the Protection Officer – Policy & Capacity Development, and the direct supervision of the Senior Protection Associate (AAP), the Protection Assistant (AAP) will support the implementation of Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) activities. The incumbent will assist in managing feedback mechanisms, facilitating community engagement, and ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up of feedback and complaints in line with AAP framework and data protection standards

Role objectives
  • Receive feedback, complaints, inquiries, and requests from beneficiaries through the Call Center and other Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) channels, ensuring respectful, professional, and two-way communication.

  • Conduct regular collection and documentation of feedback from suggestion boxes and other offline channels.

  • Record, categorize, update, and monitor feedback and referrals in the AAP case handling system, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely follow-up with relevant units.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and escalate protection concerns, including GBV, child protection, safeguarding, and PSEA cases, in accordance with organizational procedures.

  • Support community meetings, focus group discussions, outreach activities, and awareness campaigns to promote AAP mechanisms and available services.

  • Assist in analyzing feedback trends and preparing periodic reports to support programme improvement.

  • Support administrative and logistical arrangements for AAP-related activities and community consultations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Protection Associate (AAP).
