Manager Business Processes & Solutions - Supply Chain* 

in Bonn / Berlin

The position is to be filled by 01 October 2026, with an initial contract duration of 2 years. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn or Berlin.

As Manager Business Processes & Solutions in our Head Office Supply Chain Team, you will lead the design, integration, and improvement of end to end supply chain processes. Connecting business needs with digital solutions, you will strengthen procurement, sourcing, logistics, and supplier management across the organization. You will also play a key role in implementing SAP Ariba as part of our SAP S/4HANA transformation and shape its long term development. By standardizing processes and strengthening digital solutions, you will support efficient operations and responsible resource use, contributing directly to our mission to end global hunger.

Your responsibilities

  • You will lead the design, optimization, and governance of end-to-end supply chain processes, covering procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and logistics within the SAP Ariba and future S/4HANA landscape
  • You will act as process manager for procure-to-pay, source-to-contract, and inbound/outbound logistics workflows, ensuring seamless integration between SAP Ariba modules and SAP ERP
  • You will collaborate with global and local stakeholders to analyze supply chain requirements, align process standards, and introduce best practices across procurement and logistics operations
  • You will facilitate cross-functional workshops for requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design that address both business objectives and technical feasibility
  • You will coordinate cross-system developments and change management activities, ensuring that process updates are well-documented, tested, and communicated organization-wide
  • You will define and monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate efficiency, compliance, and service quality across procurement and logistics functions
  • You will support operational excellence by identifying process bottlenecks and proposing automation or digital workflow enhancements across supply chain stages
  • You will be a key contributor for effective training and user enablement, fostering adoption of best practices and system proficiency among end users worldwide
  • You will ensure the long-term sustainability of SAP Ariba and S/4HANA operations by maintaining a structured approach to process documentation, continuous improvement, and stakeholder support

Your profile

  • You hold a hold a degree or completed vocational training in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
  • You have worked within supply chain operations, including procure-to-pay, source-to-contract, inventory management, and logistics execution
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba or a similar Procurement-, Sourcing-, and Supplier-Management-Solution, and a strong understanding of digital procurement processes
  • You are excited by the perspective to lead end-to-end process design, optimization, and governance in procurement and logistics, ideally in an international and SAP-driven context
  • You can demonstrate excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and you have experience in defining and monitoring KPIs
  • You know how to manage projects and you’re able to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable process solutions
  • You enjoy working with a wide range of people and teams, and remain calm and solution-oriented even in the face of resistance during change processes
  • You recognize the growing value of data in your field and are eager to build your awareness and skills to incorporate data-informed approaches into your work
  • You bring a structured, goal-oriented approach, a team mindset, and flexibility to your work
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, as our team is international and English is our primary working language
