Role Summary

  • Provide operational support for treasury cashflow management activities, including contribution receipts, disbursements, reflows, investment settlements, and other treasury-related financial transactions. 
  • Support the maintenance of cashflow data, treasury records, reporting tools, and management information used for liquidity monitoring and treasury reporting. 
  • Assist in monitoring treasury cashflows and preparing routine reports, reconciliations, and data analyses to support treasury operations and decision-making. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely financial settlements, information collection, and reporting activities. 
  • Contribute to treasury operational improvements, data quality initiatives, and implementation of treasury systems and tools under the guidance of Treasury management

Duties and Responsibilities

Treasury Operations and Financial Flow Management

  • Support the processing and monitoring of contribution receipts, disbursements, reflows, investment settlements, foreign exchange transactions, and other treasury-related financial activities.
  • Maintain records of treasury transactions and support verification of transaction information, supporting documentation, and settlement confirmations.
  • Liaise with Accredited Entities, Trustee representatives, custodians, commercial banks, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely transaction processing.
  • Assist in monitoring treasury operational activities and escalate processing issues, exceptions, or delays to relevant supervisors.
  • Support implementation of treasury operational procedures, controls, and record-keeping requirements.

Cashflow Monitoring and Reporting Support

  • Maintain treasury cashflow data covering contributions, disbursements, reflows, investment activities, and other relevant financial flows.
  • Assist in preparing routine cashflow reports, liquidity reports, reconciliations, and management information.
  • Support the collection, validation, and consolidation of data used for treasury forecasting and reporting activities.
  • Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies, missing information, or reporting issues for follow-up.
  • Prepare periodic reporting schedules and supporting documentation used in treasury management processes.

Commitment Authority and Treasury Data Support

  • Assist in maintaining data used for Commitment Authority monitoring and reporting.
  • Support preparation of routine reports and management information relating to Commitment Authority utilization and treasury activities.
  • Compile data and supporting information for management reporting, Board reporting, and governance processes as required.
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools supporting treasury monitoring activities.
  • Assist in preparing recurring treasury dashboards and reporting packages.

Cashflow Management System and Process Support

  • Support the operation, testing, and maintenance of the Fund's Cashflow Management System and related reporting tools.
  • Assist with data validation, user testing, process documentation, and system updates.
  • Support system implementation activities, data migration exercises, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain user guides, process notes, and operational documentation relating to treasury systems and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and operational processes.

Governance, Risk and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Support responses to routine information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in treasury-related audit, compliance, governance, and risk management activities.
  • Help maintain effective working relationships with internal business units and external stakeholders supporting treasury operations.
  • Escalate operational risks, control issues, or data quality concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Participate in treasury projects, working groups, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Education

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Treasury Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with additional relevant two (2) years of experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in treasury operations, cashflow management, banking operations, financial administration, accounting, payment operations, investments operations, or related fields. 
  • Experience supporting financial operations, reconciliations, reporting, settlements, or cashflow monitoring activities.
  • Experience working with financial systems, ERP applications, databases, reporting tools, or treasury-related systems is desirable.
  • Experience within international organizations, financial institutions, public sector organizations, or commercial banking environments is desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to maintain and validate financial information.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple work assignments in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
