(*) Pursuant to an internal policy issued on 7 February 2025 regarding the roles, responsibilities, reporting lines, and coordination mechanisms for UN Tourism Regional Offices, and unless otherwise specified, personnel assigned to Regional Offices shall adhere to a dual reporting structure: (a) an operational reporting line to the Director of the respective Regional Office, which encompasses day-to-day management, task execution, and the timely delivery of results in accordance with the Office's mandate; and (b) a functional reporting line to the relevant supervisor at Headquarters, which pertains to technical guidance, professional development, and alignment with the Organization's policies, strategic objectives, and technical standards. In accordance with this policy, the personnel figures for March 2025 for the Regional Office for the Middle East have been updated accordingly.
