The World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) is the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism.

UN Tourism is currently looking for a Graphic Design & Visual Communications Intern for its Communication Department. The Communication Department contributes to positioning tourism in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, increasing the digital footprint, as well as generating strategic media relations of UN Tourism. The work of the UN Tourism Communications Department is cross cutting to the Organization and needs an effective internal exchange with all departments to ensure overall coherence.

Under the overall supervision of the Chief, Communications Department, and the day-to-day supervision of the Senior Programme Assistant, Communications Department, the intern performs the following duties:

  1. Assists in designing visual communication materials in line with the Organization's branding and communication standards;
  2. Creates graphics for social media, publications, presentations, digital campaigns, and events;
  3. Assists in the design and production of infographics, illustrations, figures, layout and graphic design of digital and print content and other visual assets;
  4. Supports the development of visual materials for UN Tourism, publications, report covers, and presentations;
  5. Carries out research and selects images for publications, meetings, and communication products;
  6. Perform other duties as required.
