Job Description
The Nutritional Quality Scientist will conduct research on the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying important nutritional quality traits in potato and other crops, using genetics and multi-omics approaches. The position will focus on identifying key regulatory genes, understanding their inheritance and biological mechanisms, constructing molecular regulatory networks, and developing molecular markers.
Requirements
Research background in plant nutrition and related majors, with a deep understanding of the molecular regulation mechanisms of starch or trace elements in potatoes and other crops, experimental experience in relevant phenotypic investigations, and relevant research experience.
Published SCI papers in relevant fields.
Nationality from a Belt and Road Initiative co-building country or other developing country.
Work experience in the above-mentioned countries and engagement in scientific research work.
Doctoral degree or more than five years of scientific research work experience.
Relatively high scientific research level or potential.
Under 45 years of age, calculated as of the date of applying for the job position, and in good health.
Good English or excellent Chinese language communication skills.
Able to work full-time in China.
