Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) HQ is the Theatre Land Component and Land Component and Land Advocate responsible for coordinating and synchronizing NATO and Partner Land Forces by enabling land domain readiness, interoperability, standardization, and competency; on
order deploys headquarters elements to provide planning, coordination, and command capabilities to Allied forces.

The Support Directorate is responsible for providing LANDCOM with organizational structures, personnel, logistics, communications and information systems and base support.

The G4 Division provides advice on Logistics to the Command, to the Land Operations Planning Group and to the Combat Readiness Evaluation teams.

The IKM Analyst is responsible for inputting data and retrieving data from LOGFAS and for helping with the training on Logistic Systems and integration of artificial intelligence (Al) with the administration of them.

2. Principal Duties
The incumbent's duties are:
. Supports the ACOS by provision of logistics functional area (FAS) support in general.
. Provides the required logistic data to contribute on accurate Logistic situational awareness (SA) using logistics functional area (FAS).
. Supports the ACOS by development of the required data collections outside logistics functional area (FAS).
. Supports the Assistant (Logistics Information Systems (LlS) Management and Administration) to establish different Logistic SA products like Recognized Logistic Picture (RLP) and the required reports.
. Supports the LIS Administrator in the implementation of logistics functional area (FAS) in G4 as well as the training including interoperability with other Functional Area Services (FAS).
. Provides assistance to all meetings and conferences conducted by G4 Division.

3. Special Requirements and Additional Duties
The employee may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organization at the same grade without there being any change to the contract.
The incumbent may be required to undertake operation deployments in support of military operations and exercises and/or TDY assignments both within and without NATO's boundaries. Such operational requirement may exceed 30 days duration up to 183 days in any period of 547 days, and may be on short notice. For NATO International Civilian Staff, acceptance of an employment contract linked to this post constitutes agreement to deploy in excess of 30 days if required.
The work is normally performed in a Normal NATO office working environment.

4. Essential Qualifications

a. Professional / Experience

(l) Knowledge Management
The systematic management of vital knowledge to create value for the organization by capturing, sharing, developing and exploiting the collective knowledge of the organization to improve performance, support decision making and mitigate risks. The development of a supportive and collaborative knowledge sharing culture to drive the successful adoption of technology solutions for knowledge management. Providing access to informal, tacit knowledge as well as formal, documented, explicit knowledge by facilitating internal and external collaboration and communications.

Skill Level (Apply)
Maintains knowledge management systems and content to meet business needs. Supports others to enable them to complete knowledge management activities and form knowledge management habits. Experience
Three year's experience in the operation of logistics applications such as LOGFAS.
Requires personal who have served as staff related IKM Analyst/Advisor in military headquarters or civilian/private organizations.

(2) Military Logistics (General)
Activities that involve logistics management. Participates in the overall planning, organizing, and directing of programmes, services, and support activities carried out through all logistics functions. Develops plans and policy guidance to implement logistics management programs. Directs and administers a positive management- oriented logistics management programme.

b. Education/Training
University Degree in logistics, transport or related discipline and 2 years function related experience, or Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 4
years post related experience.

c. Language
English - SLP 3333 - (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)
NOTE: The work both oral and written in this post and in this Headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.

Professional Contacts: Routine interaction with all other Divisions / Directorates within LANDCOM will see the incumbent continuously engaging with personnel from across the organization. External engagement with other Component Commands, Subordinate Units and other external stakeholders will be necessary in fulfilling the role of Coordination Assistant.

Contribution to Objectives: As every directorate in the headquarters requires logistic review and support, there are not enough logisticians to cover the day-to-day actions. The work cannot be redistributed because currently, cover the day-to-day actions. Given that many actions involve logistic and sustainment domain, this is a non-negotiable skill that must be added in order to adequately
meet the mission.

a. Allowances
Members of the staff who fulfil the conditions of eligibility laid down in the Civilian Personnel Regulations shall receive the appropriate allowances/supplements.
