Overview of position

The contracted personnel are responsible for supporting an ICT-enabled Supply Chain data analytics and performance management project, including data extraction, validation and analysis, development and maintenance of MS Power BI dashboards, reporting, data accuracy & integrity, and performance monitoring across supply chain processes. S/he must be highly proficient in Umoja Analytics, Umoja ECC, MS Power BI and data analysis with sound knowledge of inbound coordination processes. Additionally, s/he will technically assist & support SCM and other field office locations throughout the mission area whenever required.

Role objectives

Ensuring that Supply Chain operational data are extracted, recorded, validated, analyzed, and maintained in accordance with UN rules and regulations, utilizing Umoja SRM/ECC and Umoja Analytics) to maintain accurate, consistent and auditable data and reports.

Develop and maintain MS Power BI dashboards, reports and data models to monitor Supply Chain performance and assist in identifying trends and preparing analytical reports to support operational improvement.

Analyze historical and current Supply Chain data in Umoja Analytics, Umoja ECC, Supply Chain Planning Tool (SCPT) and provide analytical information to support management decision making.

Support inbound coordination data management and performance monitoring, including purchase order and shipment pipeline status, expected deliveries, goods receipt progress, lead times, exceptions and data discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, rules and regulations while supporting audits as required.

Ensure compliance with data governance, information security, access control and data protection requirements while extracting, processing, analyzing and reporting UN data.

Keep abreast of developments in ICT, business intelligence and Supply Chain analytics relevant to assigned responsibilities.

Compiles periodic Supply Chain performance, inbound pipeline, procurement, utilization and other operational reports and dashboards to support operational, tactical and strategic planning.

Perform any other ICT / Supply Chain data analytics duties & tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Must be diligent & reliable delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Project reporting

The ICT Project Support will work under the technical oversight of the Supervisor SCM Oversight Operations Unit in UNMISS, Republic of South Sudan.

Education, experience and other requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field is required.

A minimum of five years of professional experience in Movement control, Supply Chain management, data analysis or related operational analytics is required.

Experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports is required.

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Power BI, data analysis and related tools is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in Umoja Analytics and Umoja ECC, including extraction, validation and analysis of Supply Chain operational data, is required.

Experience in Supply Chain inbound coordination and end-to-end monitoring of procurement and shipment pipelines, including purchase order, delivery and goods receipt data, is desirable.

Experience in data modeling, KPI development, performance measurement, data reconciliation and production of management-level dashboards and analytical reports is desirable.

Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

Ability to perform any other duty as assigned by the section.

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in South Sudan is desirable.
