Transport Economist –  (Kyrgyz Republic)

About the Project: We are seeking a highly experienced Transport Economist to provide expert consulting services in the Kyrgyz Republic. This project is donor funded and is critical for enhancing regional connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive economic analysis for major highway reconstruction.
Perform detailed economic modeling using HDM-4 Version 2.12.02.
Provide expert input during the pre-proposal and design stages.
Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Transport Planning, or a relevant field (Master’s or Post-graduate degree strongly preferred).

Overall Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience in economic analysis for transport projects funded by ADB or other MDBs.
Regional Expertise: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Transport Economist on major highway projects in Central Asia or CIS countries (experience in the Kyrgyz Republic is a significant advantage).
Technical Skills: Proven proficiency and ability to analyze data using HDM-4 Version 2.12.02.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Location: Kyrgyz Republic / Remote (as per project needs)
Duration: 1+ Man-Month (Intermittent)
Remuneration: Negotiable
