Headquarters Allied Land Command (HQ LANDCOM) is the Theatre Land Component and Land Advocate responsible for coordinating and synchronizing NATO and Partner Land Forces by enabling land domain readiness, interoperability, standardization, and competency; on order deploys headquarters elements to provide planning, coordination, and command capabilities to Allied forces.
The Plans Directorate (PLANS) directs, monitors, assesses and coordinates long-term operations planning, as well as policy matters, readiness, education, training, exercise, evaluation and partnerships staff functions.
The G7 Division plans, coordinates and executes the Education, Training, Exercise and Evaluation (ETEE) functions and contributes to NATO wide ETEE. It manages the NATO Lessons ldentified / Lessons Learned (L|/LL) process within the HQ.
The Training, Exercise and Evaluation Branch is responsible to G7 for the Combat Readiness Evaluation (CREVAL) programmes. Contributes to organization, planning and conduct of events for the Evaluation, the validation and the certification of assigned NFS Headquarters and NATO Forces.
The Training and Exercise Section is responsible for planning, directing, and conducting collective training and military exercises including designated NFS entities and assigned forces. Provides staff analysis to ensure designated staff deploying for current operations have achieved the required training standards prior to deployment. Conducts the Education Training, Exercise and Evaluation (ETEE) process at LANDCOM.
The Staff Assistant (Functional Area Services) is responsible for the administration, operation and training on the exploitation of Training and Exercises Functional Area Services.

2. Principal Duties
The incumbent's duties are :

Responsible for the proper operation of the G7 Functional Area Services (FAS), especially the Joint Exercise Management Module (JEMM).
Administers the accounts and users of the Functional Area Services.
Makes inputs and operates JEMM.
Trains personnel on the principles, flows and operation of G7 Functional Area Services.
Provides advice to users of G7 FAS upon request.
Coordinates and monitors the formal individual training of G7 personnel on JEMM.
Assist in the scripting of exercises.
Assists in the creation of the Main Event List and the Main lncident List (MEL/MIL)

3. Special Requirements and Additional Duties
The employee may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organization at the same grade without there being any change to the contract.
May be required to deploy for up to six months in any eighteen-month period.
The work is normally performed in a Normal NATO office working environment.
Normal Working Conditions apply.

Higher Secondary education and intermediate vocational training which might lead to a formal qualification with 2 years experience, or Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 4 years post related experience.

c. Language

NOTE: The work both oral and written in this post and in this Headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.

initiative, identification with management objectives, and capabilities for planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling a variety of activities. Must be able to travel regularly on temporary duty and must be deployable to a combat environment.
. Professional Contacts: Maintains various professional contacts within and outside the HQs, ranging from inter-section work relations to coordination with outside. Professional contacts include all HQ Divisions.
. Contríbution to Obiectives: Directly contributes to the operational capability of the HQs. lncumbent's advice involves technical risks and directly impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of command activities.

6. Additional lnformation
a. Allowances
Members of the staff who fulfil the conditions of eligibility laid down in the Civilian Personnel Regulations shall receive the appropriate allowances/supplements. Some of the allowances are installation allowance, expatriation allowance, family allowance and education allowance. Please refer to Chapter Vll of the Civilian Personnel Regulations for details.

b. Privileges & Tax Exemptions
ln line with the bilateral agreement, the NATO lnternational Civilians who are neither Turkish nationals, nor permanent residents in Türkiye are granted various privileges and tax exemptions (covering purchase of motor vehicles, motorcycles, caravans, trailers, fuel, household furnishing and appliances and other similar items).

c. Contract
The successful candidate will receive a three-year definite duration contract, which may be followed by an indefinite duration contract. Also, the first 6 months of the employment is considered as the probationary period during which the performance of the incumbent is assessed. The definite duration contract will be confirmed only after the incumbent receives a "good" or "above good" performance evaluation in the probationary period.
