Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Tripoli, Libya, with travel across Libya as required

Job Purpose

The Sales Manager leads and develops sales activities for Darb Al Tatweer for Consulting and Capacity Building. The role focuses on acquiring clients, building sustainable partnerships, and converting client needs into integrated training, consulting, and institutional-development solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and monthly sales plans aligned with the company’s revenue and growth targets.
  • Expand the client base across government institutions, private-sector companies, banks, international and local organizations, and development partners throughout Libya.
  • Identify and analyze client needs and coordinate with technical, training, and consulting teams to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial proposals, quotations, negotiations, and contract closing.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with decision-makers, HR managers, training managers, procurement teams, and programme representatives.
  • Monitor tenders, requests for proposals, partnership opportunities, and contribute to bid-response planning.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the sales team; set targets and monitor performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, revenue forecasts, conversion rates, and lessons learned from won or lost opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on campaigns and company materials that generate qualified leads and support client conversion.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of client data, proposals, contracts, follow-ups, and collections in line with company procedures.
  • Represent Darb Al Tatweer professionally in meetings, events, and field visits, strengthening its reputation as a trusted partner in Libya.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in training, consulting, professional services, or development projects.
  • Good knowledge of the Libyan market, including public institutions, private-sector companies, and international organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in client acquisition, account management, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Ability to prepare professional technical and commercial proposals and presentations.
  • Full professional proficiency in Arabic and good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and professional digital communication platforms.
