Job Profile
The Treasury Analyst provides analytical, reporting, and some administrative support to the Treasury Unit across its three Functions. The role contributes to liquidity, funding and balance sheet monitoring, supports the preparation of treasury reports and presentations, and assists in data management and coordination activities to ensure effective functioning of the Treasury Unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
Treasury Analytics Support
- Compiles, validates, and maintains financial data related to the Liquidity and Loan Portfolios as well as Funding Operations.
- Assists in maintaining datasets, financial models, and analytical tools used within Treasury.
- Supports the preparation and coordination of the Treasury Unit's annual budget.
- Monitors Unit’s budget performance against approved plans, performs variance analysis, and prepares reports to support decision-making.
- Coordinates with internal departments and external counterparties to support data requests, reconciliations, and reporting needs.
Reporting, Presentations & Data Management
- Prepares and formats Treasury reports and presentation materials (e.g. PowerPoint) for Management and internal stakeholders, utilizing various tools, products and systems.
- Supports the development of materials for Management, Committees, and other reporting requirements.
- Ensures consistency, accuracy, and high-quality presentation of data across Treasury reporting outputs.
- Maintains and updates reporting templates, databases, and documentation related to Treasury activities.
Coordination & Administrative Support
- Provides administrative and coordination support to the Treasury Unit to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Assists in organizing meetings, preparing agendas and materials, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Supports internal and external communication, including drafting correspondence and maintaining records.
- Maintains filing systems, document repositories, and data records.
- Provides backup support to the Treasury Assistant as required, ensuring continuity of administrative functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or other relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience treasury, investment, financial management, financial analysis or a related area , of which one year should have been in an international financial institution
- Fluent in English. Good working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish is an added advantage.
