The African Union Development Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Finance Assistant - Accounts Receivable.
Under the supervision of the Finance Officer - Treasury and Investment, the Finance Assistant - Accounts Receivable provides financial and accounting support in the disbursement of advances such as staff benefit, grantee & travel, process settlement of advances by ensuring the timely verification, reconciliation, posting and clearance in accordance with AU Financial Rules, staff rules and regulations, Travel Policy, donor requirements and applicable accounting standards and procedures.

Education and Experience:
A College certificate and Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. A minimum of five (5) years of progressive working experience in a busy finance or accounting function in finance, treasury, accounting, or travel administration within the public sector, multilateral institutions, international, non-governmental, or similar organisations nationally, regionally, and/or internationally.
- Experience working with an ERP system.
- Experience in an accounting support role.
- Good experience in accounting and financial processes.

Remuneration:
Indicative basic salary of US$19,701.71 per annum plus other entitlements e.g., Post Adjustment (46% of basic salary), Housing allowance ($16,813.44 per annum), gratuity (15% of gross salary) in conformity with the rules and procedures applicable to internationally recruited staff of the African Union.
