Student Assistant in Youth Activation*
in Bonn
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of 1 year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.
As a Working Student in Youth Activation, you will support our Marketing Team with activities, events, and digital campaigns aimed at engaging young people with Welthungerhilfe’s causes and encouraging their active participation.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of new formats for young target groups, providing creative support through your ideas and research, from concept development through to implementation.
- Support the Engagement Team in planning and implementing various events, such as charity runs, festivals, trade fairs, and educational activities.
- Design and manage information booths at events and other activities.
- Develop and implement media partnerships.
- Analyze and evaluate events and campaigns.
- Engage and correspond with a wide range of supporters, including volunteers, school students, university students, influencers, and companies.
- Research ideas and prepare them for presentation.
- Write and visually design materials such as invitations, articles, and social media posts.
- Provide administrative and project-related support to the Engagement Team.
Your profile
- You are currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field of study.
- You are communicative and enjoy working in a young team.
- You are enthusiastic about inspiring and mobilizing people around our causes.
- You are creative, well-organized, and have strong organizational skills.
- You have good knowledge of MS Office, collaborative tools, and digital media.
- You have a strong interest in social media platforms and, ideally, experience working with tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- You are also happy to take a hands-on approach when needed.
- You are fluent in English and have good working proficiency in German
