1. Photography, Videography and Field Production: ● Plan and conduct photography and video recording sessions during UNRWA activities, events, field visits, and donor missions across JFO installations and refugee camps. ● Coordinate logistics for recording sessions, including scheduling, staff/beneficiary coordination, and on-site setup. ● Ensure content captured is accurate, dignified, and aligned with UNRWA's communication and safeguarding guidelines. 2. Editing and Post-Production ● Edit photographs and videos for use across UNRWA's social media platforms, websites, donor reports, and other communication materials. ● Produce short-form video content, including subtitles/captions, for digital and social media use. ● Maintain and organise a structured digital archive of photo, video, and design assets. 3. Graphic Design and Visual Content: ● Design visuals, graphics, posters, and infographics for social media, campaigns, and donor visibility materials, using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator. ● Support the visual identity and consistency of content across platforms, in line with UNRWA's branding and communication guidelines. 4. Coordination and Support to Communications Activities: ● Support the PIO/Liaison and Communications Officer in preparing visibility materials for donor visits, inaugurations, and high-level engagements. ● Coordinate with programme and area colleagues to identify and schedule relevant content opportunities. ● Perform other related duties as assigned by the PIO team.

- Completion of secondary education. • Five years of relevant professional experience in photography, videography, video editing, or graphic design, ideally within a media, communications, NGO, or UN context. • Proven portfolio demonstrating photography, video editing, and/or design work. • Experience covering events or field activities under time constraints is an asset. • Familiarity with humanitarian or development contexts is desirable.

• Basic English language proficiency and Arabic is required.

Background: UNRWA is a United Nations agency established by the General Assembly in 1949 and is mandated to aid and protection to a population of 5.7 million registered Palestine refugees. Its mission is to help Palestine refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank and the Gaza Strip to achieve their full potential in human development, pending a just solution to their plight. UNRWA's services encompass education, health care, relief and social services, camp infrastructure and improvement, microfinance and emergency assistance. UNRWA is funded almost entirely by voluntary contributions. The Jordan Field Office (JFO) operates within a dynamic environment, hosting over 2.4 million registered Palestine refugees and providing humanitarian and development services to more than 500,000 Palestine Refugees across 10 official camps in the Kingdom. Amid compounding financial constraints and heightened regional sensitivities, the Public Information Office (PIO) requires dedicated, hands-on production capacity to sustain a consistent flow of high-quality visual and multimedia content documenting UNRWA's work and impact. This position provides the PIO team with dedicated production capacity to lead on photography, videography, editing, and design work across ongoing communications, visibility, and donor-facing content, working closely with programme colleagues, area staff, and donor relations focal points to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful storytelling.
