INTRODUCTION TO GGGI

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.

GGGI works with governments, financial institutions, development partners and private-sector stakeholders to develop policies, mobilize investment and implement solutions that contribute to climate and sustainable development objectives.

GGGI manages a growing portfolio of multi-country and global programs focused on climate action, sustainable finance, policy development, investment mobilization and green growth implementation.

GGGI’s global programs require robust systems for monitoring implementation, measuring results, tracking progress against agreed targets and ensuring timely and high-quality reporting to donors, management and governance bodies. These programs often involve multiple countries, technical workstreams and implementing teams, and require the consolidation and verification of quantitative and qualitative information across a broad portfolio of activities. Effective monitoring and results management is therefore essential to support accountability, management decision-making, donor reporting and organizational learning.
