As our company grows, we are increasingly developing our own project ideas and helping partners find international opportunities to bring theirs to life. We are therefore looking for an International Partnerships Manager to help build long-term relationships with international donors, identify funding opportunities and develop partnerships around projects and priorities we care deeply about, including European integration, recovery and reconstruction, human capital development and other areas.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who knows the international donor landscape and understands how to connect a strong project idea with international funding and build the partnerships needed to make it happen.
This role is for someone who:

understands a project’s objectives and can identify its potential for international funding;

understands how international donors and partners operate;

has the skills and experience to build long-term partnerships and consortia;

is comfortable negotiating with international partners and can represent the company professionally in high-level discussions.
What knowledge and skills will you need?
-
At least 3 years of experience working within or with UN agencies (such as UNDP and UNICEF), diplomatic missions (embassies), international financial institutions (such as the World Bank, EBRD and EIB), international technical assistance projects or other international stakeholders (such as USAID, GIZ and Sida).

A thorough understanding of the international cooperation landscape in Ukraine in the context of recovery, reconstruction and European integration.

Hands-on experience securing international funding, developing international projects or building partnerships.

Strong organisational skills, a structured approach to work and a high level of accountability.

Fluency in Ukrainian and English proficiency at C1 level or above.

Based in Kyiv and available for in-person meetings with partners.
Desirable: experience negotiating with international partners and presenting an organisation or its projects at external meetings.
Key responsibilities
Manage the partnership development process from identifying the first contact through to launching joint activities. Your responsibilities will also include:

Assess new projects and identify the most relevant international programmes, donors or financing instruments to support their implementation.

Build and maintain partnerships with international stakeholders.

Initiate, organise and support meetings with international partners, working alongside the company’s Managing Partners.

Work with the team to develop new project concepts aligned with prospective donors’ priorities.

Coordinate the preparation of materials for negotiations, presentations and partnership meetings.

Monitor new international funding opportunities and maintain an up-to-date overview of potential partnerships.

Advise public authorities, civil society organisations and businesses on international cooperation strategies, partnership development and securing international funding.
