Africa Finance supports management in the stewardship of financial resources through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and decision support. To enhance efficiency and strengthen data-driven decision-making, Africa Finance is expanding its capabilities in management reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and technology-enabled finance solutions. The Finance Analyst will provide finance business partnering support to designated regional operational teams. In addition, the position will support regional management reporting, financial analytics, business intelligence, automation, and process improvement initiatives serving Africa Finance more broadly.The position combines traditional budget finance partner responsibilities with advanced analytical and technology capabilities.

Duties and accountabilities

• Support assigned operational teams in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Monitor budget utilization and identify resource risks, pressures, and opportunities.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, presentations, and management briefing materials.
• Produce recurring budget, workforce, and management reporting outputs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, analytical tools, and business intelligence products.
• Support automation, process improvement, and AI-enabled finance initiatives.
• Promote data quality, knowledge sharing, and consistent reporting practices.

Selection Criteria

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, or resource management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn data and reporting into actionable insights.
• Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, automation, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and client engagement skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to results, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. French is desirable
