The Human Resources Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies and meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing, and deploying diverse and skilled talent.
The Employer Branding, Digital Engagement, and Candidate Experience Specialist plays a key role in advancing the WBG talent attraction strategy. The position develops innovative candidate-facing content and experiences across the careers website, social media channels, recruitment campaigns, virtual events, and multimedia platforms. The Specialist strengthens the WBG global talent brand, improves engagement with priority talent segments, and supports strategic talent attraction programs through compelling storytelling, digital innovation, and measurable campaign performance.
Duties and Accountabilities
• Maintain and evolve employer branding content aligned with the WBG Employee Value Proposition and institutional brand standards.
• Support Phase II modernization of the WBG Careers website, including content governance, candidate journey improvements, accessibility enhancements, multilingual content, employee storytelling, and representation of Country Offices.
• Support the implementation, launch, promotion, and ongoing optimization of the Find Your Fit career exploration tool and related digital candidate experience initiatives.
• Lead multimedia production projects, including recruitment videos, employee stories, photography, webinars, social media content, and digital campaigns.
• Produce and edit video, photography, graphic design, and digital content assets for recruitment marketing campaigns, talent programs, careers platforms, and candidate engagement initiatives.
• Develop authentic storytelling content that showcases employee experiences, career opportunities, Country Office impact, inclusion, leadership, and mission-driven work across the WBG.
• Manage and update content across careers platforms, social media channels, internal sites, and recruitment materials, including brochures, presentations, banners, handouts, templates, and campaign toolkits.
• Design and deliver targeted recruitment marketing and Hot Jobs campaigns that increase awareness of priority opportunities and encourage qualified candidates to apply.
• Support the design and delivery of candidate engagement activities, including virtual career events, career insight webinars, and targeted outreach campaigns for priority talent pools and markets.
• Collaborate with Talent Attraction, communications, technology, and business teams to translate hiring priorities into integrated campaigns and candidate-facing experiences.
• Centralize and maintain corporate employer branding materials, outreach tools, templates, and guidelines in the designated repository to support consistent global use.
• Monitor and report on website performance, digital engagement, campaign effectiveness, social media metrics, candidate behavior, and talent attraction outcomes; use insights to recommend improvements.
• Apply available AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve content development, personalization, production efficiency, quality assurance, and campaign optimization.
• Support talent outreach efforts and any other projects as required by Team Lead.
Selection Criteria
• Master's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, digital media, human resources, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, talent acquisition communications, or digital engagement.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing employer branding, recruitment marketing, or candidate engagement strategies for diverse and global audiences.
• Strong portfolio of multimedia work, with hands-on proficiency in video editing, photography, graphic design, and digital content production.
• Proficiency with relevant creative tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, or comparable platforms.
• Experience managing website content, digital candidate journeys, accessibility considerations, and user-centered content improvements.
• Strong knowledge of social media strategy, paid and organic campaigns, audience engagement, and digital marketing performance measurement.
• Experience designing or supporting webinars, virtual career events, and targeted candidate engagement initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex institutional information into clear, compelling, and inclusive content for varied audiences and channels.
• Strong project management skills, with a record of coordinating multiple stakeholders, deliverables, vendors, and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and sound editorial judgment.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to assess campaign reach, engagement, conversion, candidate experience, and return on investment.
• Experience executing campaigns across multiple regions and cultures is desirable.
• Ability to use available AI-enabled content, marketing, and productivity tools responsibly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
