CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
On the occasion of Global Green Growth Week 2026 - https://events.gggi.org/gggw2026 - GGGI is launching a special Youth Ambassador Programme to identify talented students and recent graduates interested in pursuing internship opportunities across GGGI in 2027.
Selected Youth Ambassadors will be invited to attend GGGI’s annual flagship event in Seoul and gain first-hand exposure to the work of an international organization and to the global conversations shaping the green transition.
Under the theme “Powering the race for green transformation: Technology, capital and global cooperation at scale,” Global Green Growth Week brings together senior leaders from governments, international organizations, business, finance, technology, academia and civil society from around the world.
The programme provides Youth Ambassadors with an exceptional opportunity to hear directly from international decision-makers and leading experts working on green growth, the energy transition, sustainable and green finance, carbon finance and Article 6, Green AI, innovation, investment and global cooperation.
The 2026 programme brings together senior government representatives, ambassadors, international organizations and global experts, including Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations and President and Chair of the GGGI Assembly, alongside speakers and experts from leading international, financial and academic institutions.
Rather than simply learning about international climate action and sustainable development in the classroom, Youth Ambassadors will have the opportunity to be in the room, listen to the discussions and experience first-hand how governments, international organizations, businesses, investors and experts work together to advance the green transition.
Following Global Green Growth Week, Youth Ambassadors will submit a short report reflecting on the sessions they attended and the ideas and perspectives they encountered.
Authors of the strongest reports will be selected for multiple internship opportunities across GGGI in 2027, subject to applicable internship eligibility requirements and the availability and requirements of individual internship positions.
ASSIGNMENT

-
Explore topics including green growth, energy transition, sustainable finance, carbon finance and Article 6, Green AI, climate investment, technology and international cooperation.
